Majorian, a male Coquerel’s sifaka lemur, is the third offspring of Lupicina and Gabe at the Duke Lemur Center in Durham.
The baby was born Dec. 19, 2024, weighing 102 grams. He shares his name with a Western Roman emperor characterized as “great and heroic” by historians. Majorian has two older siblings, Felix and Camilla.
