The snow actually came down pretty heavily on Wednesday, enough for the kids to throw snowballs and scoot down hills on our long-unused plastic sleds. And, as the picture shows, the Southpoint Access mobile newsroom got smothered by the stuff!
Thursday’s another remote-learning day for Durham Public Schools. DPS hasn’t made a call about Friday yet, but it seems likely to be a delayed start at best. If parts of northern Durham don’t thaw sufficiently, chances are good we won’t see kids back in classrooms until next Monday.
