Families affected by Durham Public Schools’ new “family responsibility zones” are urged to attend a town hall on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 6–7:30 p.m. at Hope Valley Elementary’s media center.
Starting Jan. 22, families within a mile of school must provide transportation, affecting about 180 students. Administrators want to hear from affected families. Complete the survey (English/Spanish) and share your plans.
