The Durham Public Schools Board of Education on Wednesday narrowed the candidates to search for a new superintendent down to four.
The finalists include:
- The North Carolina School Boards Association. Estimated search cost: $21,500 plus expenses.
- Alma Advisory Group. Estimated search cost: $96,044.
- BWP & Associates. Estimated search cost: $34,000 plus expenses.
- Summit Search Solutions. Estimated search cost: Fixed fee of $45,000.
Board members next Wednesday will interview representatives from the final four. During the March 21 regular board meeting, members will vote to hire one of those firms.
