2024 Lottery Notification Process and Timeline
- Lottery Application Period (for 2024-2025 School-Year): Monday, Jan. 8 (12 a.m.) through Friday, Feb. 9 (5 p.m.)
- The parent or legal guardian/custodian must have a valid email address or phone number to create an online account, submit an application, and receive application updates in the application portal: SchoolMInt Application Account at: https://applydpsnc.schoolmint.com/login
- Application access and assistance:
- Use a SmartPhone, Tablet, or Computer (may be accessed at the Public Library) to access the SmartChoice Application site at https://applydpsnc.schoolmint.com/login
