Break bread for a good cause on Aug. 23 at a special fundraising dinner to support Parktown Food Hub, a vital local resource that helps families facing food insecurity.
Hosted by Christus Victor Lutheran Church (1615 NC Hwy. 54), the event offers two seatings – 4:30 and 6:30 – with tickets priced at $25 per person. Proceeds from the event directly benefit the food hub’s mission and operations, which support hundreds in our Durham community.
The dinner is presented in partnership between Christus Victor Lutheran Church, All Saints’ United Methodist Church, and Parkwood United Methodist Church through a broader initiative known as Cooperative Communities on Mission (CCoM). The event aims to raise $10,000 and recruit 30 new monthly donors to help sustain the hub’s monthly operating budget of $8,000.
No nursery care is available, but families are welcome – children will dine alongside adults. Tickets and additional donation options are now available.
