Durham Public Schools traditional calendar campuses are back in service on Aug. 25. Whether your child is entering kindergarten or wrapping up elementary school in 5th, having the right supplies can make a big difference.

Here’s a complete breakdown of what your Parkwood Elementary School student needs, including required materials for each grade level and helpful donation items that teachers welcome throughout the year.

🧸 Pre-Kindergarten

Required Supplies

• 1 Full-size backpack (must fit blanket & folder)
• 1 complete change of seasonal clothes (socks, underwear, shirt, pants/shorts in labeled Ziploc)
• 1 small/medium blanket (beach towel size)
• 1 refillable water bottle
• 1 box of quart-sized Ziploc bags
• 1 container of baby wipes
• 1 container of Clorox or Lysol wipes
• 1 box of Kleenex
• Large or medium-sized wiggly eyes (no small ones)
