South Durham Weekly Crime Update – July 2, 2025

This past week in South Durham, law enforcement responded to a range of incidents across multiple neighborhoods. Reports included several cases of aggravated and simple assault, vandalism, theft, and harassment. Vehicle-related crimes such as motor vehicle theft and burglary remained prevalent, particularly in residential areas. Notable incidents also involved cyber-related fraud and a few cases of sexual offenses. Locations spanned from commercial centers along Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard and Fayetteville Road to quieter residential streets such as Penrith Drive and Rose Garden Lane.
