South Durham Weekly Crime Update – June 25, 2025

Between June 15 and June 21, police responded to a broad range of criminal incidents across South Durham, according to incident reports. The week saw at least 27 motor vehicle break-ins and nine stolen vehicles, along with two residential burglaries and one commercial burglary. Officers also responded to seven simple assaults, two aggravated assaults, and two sexual offenses. There were eight reports of vandalism, seven fraud or forgery cases – including cybercrime – and nine thefts. Authorities documented six cases of harassment or intimidation, three drug-related violations, and one report of a missing person or runaway.
