[SoDu How-To] Commemorate National Pride Month In and Around Durham

By Tricia Smar, Special to Southpoint Access

June commemorates National Pride Month in honor of the Stonewall Riots of 1969; Durham’s large annual Pride event takes place in the fall (see Pride History here). However, there are still oodles of events in June to celebrate across South Durham and the surrounding communities. So sport your rainbow attire and show your support of our LGBTQ+ neighbors.

All month long: All You Mead is Love at Ment Beverage Co (312 Blackwell St, Durham, NC 27713)

  • One dollar from every flight purchased from Ment Bev Co will be donated to the LGBTQ Center of Durham.
