Hope Valley Elementary PTA Offers Volunteer Opportunities

South Durham’s Hope Valley Elementary School Parent Teacher Association offers several opportunities and initiatives to help students and staff, from clothing donations to educational activities.

Here’s a quick rundown on what was shared in the latest PTA newsletter:

Clothing Donations Needed for Front Office: Ms. Angie is seeking gently used children’s clothes, especially pants/leggings size 6-12, shirts, and shorts for students in need. Donations can be dropped off at the front office. For queries, contact Jenni at jennialbright@gmail.com.
Media Center Volunteer Orientation: Hope Valley Elementary invites parents to a volunteer orientation with Mrs. Ramachandran every Monday from 10:30 – 11 am. Warehouse Shoppers Needed for Student Snacks: Volunteers willing to shop at Costco or Sam’s for student snacks and be reimbursed by the PTA are needed. Contact Roger at roger.vroom@gmail.com for details.
